Position Responsibilities
- Providing direct support to students in classroom settings
- Aiding teachers with instructional and behavioral support strategies
- Supporting implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Fostering a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Kansas teaching license or ability to obtain one
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with certified staff
