About the role

The Educational Aide will support classroom teachers by providing assistance with daily activities, managing student behavior, and ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and implementation
• Support students during instructional activities
• Maintain classroom materials and supplies
• Manage student behavior and discipline
• Participate in team meetings and professional development

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Valid Texas Driver’s License (if driving school vehicles)

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of child development and educational principles
