Paraprofessional / Aide (ESC Classrooms in Piqua, Troy, or Other Locations in Miami County)
About the role
The Miami County Educational Service Center provides special education programs and student support services to public schools located in Miami County. We are seeking professional individuals who would like to join our team as a paraprofessional in our classrooms: Piqua, Troy and the Cooperative Learning Center (Troy, Ohio).
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support for students with multiple disabilities or emotional disturbances
- Classrooms range from Kindergarten to High School aged students
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age by start date
- An Educational Aide Permit (or will obtain)
- Complete and have satisfactory results on BCI and FBI Background Checks
