About the role
Paraprofessional – 1:1 Aide position within the LIGHT Program. Starting immediately for the 10-month full-time school year.
Responsibilities
- Assist student(s) with special needs throughout the day with academics and daily school routines.
- Maintain a strict schedule and ensure student safety while school is in session.
- Support students and teachers to help each student meet his/her IEP goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must hold an ELS (Paraprofessional) license or Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students at all levels.
- Basic math and computer skills, along with some general office skills.
Pay
Range of pay: $18.03 – $19.28 per hour. Additional stipends available based upon assignment.
