Role Overview

The ER Technician II provides basic patient care and assists with direct emergency services. Responsibilities include administering therapeutic treatments as ordered by physicians, operating laboratory equipment, discharging patients, and providing patient education.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist emergency staff in delivering quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Texas EMT-P or National EMT-P certification.
• Current Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardio Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications (within 90 days of hire).
• Preferably, one year of relevant work experience.

• Strong understanding of emergency medical procedures.
• Ability to operate laboratory and medical equipment.
• Effective communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to support a collaborative emergency care team.
