Role Overview

The ER Technician II provides essential patient care support in emergency settings, assisting with therapeutic treatments, operating laboratory equipment, and managing patient discharge and education. They work closely with patients, families, and emergency staff to deliver compassionate, quality care aligned with organizational values.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care duties and support direct patient care activities.
• Assist with therapeutic treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Operate laboratory and medical equipment efficiently.
• Support patient discharge procedures and provide education to patients and families.
• Contribute to the mission, vision, and strategic goals of the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Texas EMT-P or National EMT-P certification, with required BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred one year of relevant work experience.
