Paramedic/EMT

Monday through Thursday, 3 pm–1 am

Responsibilities

• Maintain EMT or Paramedic certifications and license.
• Manage direct care of work-related and non-work-related injured or ill team members.
• Provide case management of Workers’ Compensation claims and support for Workers’ Compensation hearings as needed.
• Conduct hearing tests.
• Administer vaccination programs, including Tetanus and Hepatitis.
• Facilitate physician job site visits and Functional Capacity Examinations.
• Ensure timely and accurate charting of all care provided into team member health records.
• Conduct job assessments within manufacturing and office environments; provide risk analysis and risk-reduction solutions.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and recordkeeping within scope of responsibility.
• Maintain Health and Safety Information systems; input health information and treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current NREMT certification and any State licensing requirement for Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic.
• Minimum of three years EMT or Paramedic experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, PeopleSoft, Fusion, and Thrive.

Work Environment

The noise level in the manufacturing environment is usually moderate, but can be loud when in the factory.
