About the role

The ED Technician provides patient care under the medical direction of the Medical Director and supervision of the ED attending physician, with general management by the RN. They assist in collecting clinical and psychosocial data within their certification scope and report findings to the RN and physician.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in accordance with physician orders, policies, and established standards.
• Support the healthcare team to ensure excellent patient care and uphold the hospital's mission.
• Assist in data collection and reporting to facilitate effective patient management.
• Contribute to a collaborative environment emphasizing trust, innovation, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-Paramedic certification in Florida.
• Minimum of one year paramedic experience.
• High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved Paramedic Program.

Skills

• Preferred skills in pre-hospital and critical care transport.
• Specialty certifications: BLS and ACLS.
