Role: Paramedic, Full-Time Days in Emergency Department. Responsibilities: Provide safe, patient-centered care by administering medications, performing EKGs, starting IVs and IOs, drawing blood, and monitoring for arrhythmias. Assist with trauma and system assessments, transport patients, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional care. Maintain knowledge of medications, body systems, and emergency protocols. Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications upon hire; PALS must be obtained within 6 months if not initially certified. Current paramedic license in the state preferred, with at least 1 year of experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Key Skills: Clinical competence in emergency procedures, medication administration, patient assessment, and monitoring. Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills are necessary to excel in a fast-paced environment.
