Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00
Shift: Evenings; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays
About the role
Join our Cleveland Heights Emergency Department! The unit serves acutely ill pediatric to adult patients, including a behavioral health patient population. The department has 20 beds and has received Acute Stroke Ready recognition.
Responsibilities
- Patient assessments
- Patient triage
- IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion
- Time management, critical thinking, delegating

- Paramedics
- Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs)

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation)
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS or obtained within 90 days of hire
- Current PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Current TNCC certification or obtained within 1 year of hire
- PRN must possess current certifications upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
