Paramedic Basic

About the Role

We are seeking full-time Paramedics dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care, including both basic and advanced medical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations to determine appropriate actions following advanced Paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment such as defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and administer intravenous fluids.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and information.
• Lead scene and unit management as a Paramedic team leader when required.
• Operate ambulances during emergency responses.
• Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid California driver’s license, ambulance driver’s license, and Medical Examiner’s Card.
• State of California Paramedic License.
• CPR (AHA Healthcare Provider), ACLS, and PALS or PEPP certifications.
• Driving record compliant with safety policies.
• Completion of ICS courses: IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, and IS-800B.
