Paramedic

Base Per Diem | 16-Hour Shifts (3P - 7A) and 24-Hour Shifts (7A - 7A)

About the role

The Paramedic provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness, in accordance with state and local protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic and advanced life support in emergency pre-hospital settings.
• Provide care during interfacility patient transfers.
• Adhere to state and local protocols for patient treatment.

Requirements

• Completion of a Paramedic Course.
• Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Current BLS certification.
• PIFT Certification required within six months of start date.
• Locations in New Hampshire require a NH Paramedic License with a National Registry Paramedic License.
• One year of relevant experience preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.24 to $34.16 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE). In addition to base pay, MaineHealth offers shift differentials or other incentives where applicable.
