About the role
Paramedics at Riddle EMS work in a fast-paced, team environment providing basic and advanced life support to individuals needing care in the field. Quick thinking is required to evaluate care and assess patient needs. Communication and compassion are essential in continuing the service of Main Line Health outside of the hospital, making an impact through emergent care provided to the community.

Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of pre-hospital advanced life support experience or equivalent experience
- High school graduate
- Successful completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic program or its equivalent
- Successful completion of an approved CCEMT-P Program or Critical Care Nursing Program
Qualifications
- Satisfactory completion of practical and written examinations administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Health
- Current Pennsylvania certification as an EMT-Paramedic or Pre-Hospital Nurse
- Current driver’s license valid in Pennsylvania (copy on file required)
- Current Provider BLS (American Heart Association/American Red Cross) and ACLS certifications (copies on file required)
- Hazmat Awareness certification
- EVOC/EMSVO certification
- Additional certifications encouraged: NREMT-P, PHTLS, BTLS, PALS, NALS, Firefighting 1 or equivalent
