PARAMEDIC (A 43) - Multiple Positions Available

About the role

As a Paramedic (A 43), you will provide emergency medical care to patients in need, often in high-pressure situations. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to stabilize and transport patients to appropriate facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations
• Perform advanced life support procedures as needed
• Transport patients safely to hospitals or other medical facilities
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare providers
• Document patient care and treatment in accordance with hospital policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current North Carolina Paramedic license
• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills
• Physical stamina and endurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Services preferred
• Experience working in emergency medical services

Skills

• Proficient in CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Effective teamwork and collaboration

Pay

Hourly rate: $18.50

Schedule

Shifts are typically 12 hours long, Monday through Friday, with weekends off. Some evening and night shifts may be required.
