About the role
The position will provide support to attorneys assigned to the following units: Violent Crimes, Special Investigations, Special Victims, Domestic Violence, Juvenile, and line attorneys with assigned jury trials.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation
- Draft pleadings
- Manage/update the case management database
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Five years of related experience
- Organized and thorough with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Prior experience in Criminal Law preferred
- Understanding of the sensitive nature of violent crimes
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Paralegal Certification preferred
Skills
- Experience with the Virginia Courts System
- Experience with case management software (OCRA, JSVG, CMS, Prosecutor by Karpel)
- Bilingual fluency in one or more languages (English and another language)

Pay
$65,000.00 to $69,000.00
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees are eligible to participate in the plans; however, the level and cost of benefits depend on the classification of the position.
