Paralegal - Pre-Litigation

About the role

A Center City personal injury law firm is seeking a highly motivated pre-litigation paralegal. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and ready to take ownership of cases from intake through settlement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-litigation case files: Track deadlines, maintain organized records, and ensure all documents are complete and up to date.
• Communicate with clients: Provide regular updates, gather information, and help clients feel supported throughout their case.
• Draft and prepare legal documents: Demand letters, medical summaries, correspondence, and settlement packages.
• Request and review medical records: Organize treatment timelines and identify missing documentation.
• Clock with insurance adjusters: Submit demands, follow up on negotiations, and assist attorneys with settlement strategy.
• Support attorneys: Prepare case summaries, organize evidence, and assist with case evaluations.
• Additional tasks that may be requested by the attorneys and/or administration.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of the Needles case management system is a plus.

Qualifications

The firm is looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
