About the role
We are speaking with experienced paralegals for select opportunities across corporate, litigation, bankruptcy, personal injury, and family law practices. These roles are ideal for legal professionals who can manage substantive work, support attorneys directly, and keep matters moving in fast-paced law firm environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage corporate filings, entity management, governance workflows, venture financings, SAFEs, convertible notes, signature packages, cap table maintenance, closing checklists, precedent libraries, and coordination between attorneys, clients, and counterparties.
- Draft and file pleadings, discovery responses, and motions; track deadlines and court calendars; coordinate with opposing counsel, courts, and experts; support trial preparation; handle pre-litigation support as needed.
- Support litigation partners on complex employment law and voting rights matters, including filings, discovery, case management, pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, deposition summaries, trial binders, exhibit lists, witness files, document production, e-discovery workflows, and legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and PACER.
- Manage 35–40 active litigation files, drafting and filing pleadings, discovery responses, and motions; track deadlines and court calendars; coordinate with opposing counsel, courts, and experts; support trial preparation; handle pre-litigation support as needed.
- Manage Chapter 11 corporate debtor representations, out-of-court workouts, case documents, filings, case administration, court deadlines, client/creditor/court coordination, and substantive bankruptcy support in a paperless, tech-forward environment.
- Draft and file petitions, motions, parenting plans, discovery, interrogatories, financial affidavits, client communication, court filings, deadline management, trial preparation, exhibits, and binders.
- Support family law matters, including drafting and filing petitions, motions, parenting plans, discovery, interrogatories, financial affidavits, client communication, court filings, deadline management, trial preparation, exhibits, and binders.
Requirements
- Prior law firm paralegal or legal support experience.
- Comfort managing deadlines, filings, documents, and attorney support.
- Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.
- Comfort working directly with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Experience in the specific practice area required for the role.
Qualifications
- 3–15+ years of experience, depending on role.
- Strong drafting, proofreading, filing, and case management ability.
- Comfort managing deadlines and multiple active matters.
- Professional client and attorney communication skills.
- Experience with legal technology, court filing systems, case management tools, or e-discovery platforms.
- Stability, reliability, and interest in a long-term role.
