Essential Job Functions

  • Provide full-cycle production for a range of business-based immigrant and non-immigrant petitions
  • Advanced experience working with Microsoft programs and immigration software, preferably INSZoom
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, continually changing environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage a large-volume caseload
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Attend and participate in internal CLEs
  • Anticipate attorney needs
  • Serve as a mentor to more junior Paralegals and legal assistants, as needed
  • Stay informed of developments in Paralegal industry
  • Familiarity and experience with adopting legal AI and ability to learn and implement new AI preferred
  • Meet annual billable hour target of 1500
  • Perform other duties as required

Position Specific Requirements

  • 3 years of paralegal experience in-house or in a law firm setting in business immigration law
  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • Significant, substantive legal related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education at the discretion of the SBU Managing Director
