Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and review a variety of legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Prepare accurate and detailed case notes, ensuring all critical information is properly documented.
- Assist attorneys and legal staff with hearing preparation, interview preparation, and case organization.
- Review legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Organize, maintain, and manage confidential legal files and documentation.
- Conduct legal research and gather supporting documentation as needed.
- Cook with internal departments and stakeholders regarding legal matters.
- Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal and agency information.
- Perform other administrative and legal support duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working as a Paralegal.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and editing legal documents.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting government agencies or public sector legal teams.
- Familiarity with legal case management systems.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field.
- Paralegal Certificate preferred.
