About the role
This is an outstanding opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys conducting research, preparing legal documents, supporting trial preparation, and serving as a trusted resource to attorneys and clients alike.
Responsibilities
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including affidavits, pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and correspondence
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy and litigation efforts
- Aid attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit management, witness coordination, and case organization
- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring documents are accurate, complete, and easily accessible
- Monitor deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements to ensure compliance
- File legal documents with courts and regulatory agencies
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation and case management
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and document preparation
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Qualifications
- Experience in family law preferred
- Knowledge of Washington state laws and court procedures
