About the role

This Corporate Paralegal position provides organizational and practice-specific assistance to the Senior Paralegal, Paralegal Director, and Associate General Counsel. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in an organized and efficient manner. Physical presence at the corporate office is required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare correspondence, notebooks, draft documents, form entities, prepare UCC filings, confidentiality agreements, and service agreements.
  • Assist the legal department in multiple facets of corporate law, including updating company files, preparing legal contracts, reviewing documents, and conducting legal research.
  • Maintain and file corporate records, including resolutions, board of director changes, and annual reports.
  • Produce documents related to the development and implementation of corporate legal policies and templates.
  • Oversee the contract process, including planning, collaboration, negotiation, and execution.
  • Provide administrative support for documents and activities related to corporate restructurings, such as mergers, formations, and dissolutions.
  • Work with members of the legal team on special projects and initiatives.
  • Actively promote guest customer service standards and develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Participate in team concepts and promote a team effort while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Junior Paralegal as needed and help manage and organize materials under the supervision of the Senior Paralegal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certification is a plus.
  • Four or more years of law firm experience with a corporate or healthcare background preferred.
  • Type at least 70 words per minute.
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Word.
  • Advanced analytical skills required; experience with Adobe Professional preferred.
