Responsibilities
- Aid General Counsel in the coordination of contract review processes.
- Timely prepare, review, and proofread a high volume and diverse range of agreements, focusing on physician employment agreements, real estate leases, and vendor contracts.
- Revise contract language in collaboration with General Counsel.
- Create, utilize, and update template and form documents.
- Organize and route high volumes of agreements for timely execution.
- Proactively engage in and lead contracting process improvement initiatives, implementing smooth and efficient workflows.
- Organize and maintain corporate files, including organizational documents, minutes, and resolutions.
- Aid in documentation production, document redaction, and preparation of document notebooks and exhibits.
- Aid General Counsel with file maintenance, case management plans, calendaring, invoice processing, and routine communications with internal clients.
- Under attorney direction, draft correspondence, pleadings, and legal instruments.
- Perform research and assist with projects as assigned by attorney.
- Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, organizing, and routing contracts for execution.
- File documents with courts and administrative tribunals.
- Be familiar with sources of federal and North Carolina law, including the North Carolina General Statutes, State rules and regulations, and federal statutes and regulations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or two years of college in an appropriate discipline.
- Three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or with health care-related law or policy.
- Experience with Contract Management Software, Westlaw, and LexisNexis.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an appropriate discipline.
- Certified as a National (NALA) or North Carolina State Paralegal.
Qualifications

- Three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting or with health care-related law or policy.
