Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys in employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft, revise, and organize pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
- Manage document collection, review, and production processes
- Prepare deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials
- Track case deadlines, court dates, and litigation calendars
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations
- Maintain and organize case files and litigation databases
- Cook up state and federal court filings
- Aid in trial preparation, exhibits, and witness materials
Qualifications
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience; employment litigation experience preferred
- Experience supporting matters in California state and federal courts
- Strong knowledge of discovery, document management, and trial preparation
- Excellent organizational and deadline-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
