Paralegal
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain organized legal files, templates, and internal tracking systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Partner with attorneys and cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives that support the Legal Department’s strategic objectives.
- Manage the contract intake process and administer the contract management system, ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely processing.
- Prepare, manage, and track insurance regulatory, corporate governance, and securities-related filings.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research; analyze and summarize laws, regulations, and case law for attorney review.
- Affiliate in drafting, reviewing, and revising contracts and other legal documents.
- Support corporate transactions, and related Know Your Customer and due diligence activities.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Sharepoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), contract management systems (e.g. Linksquares) and some experience with ChatGPT or Copilot preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of paralegal experience preferred.
Pay and Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000 to $92,000 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
