About the role

O'Hagan Meyer LLC, a litigation law firm, seeks a full-time Paralegal in its Richmond, Virginia office. The ideal candidate must have at least 4 years of experience in Civil Litigation, with a focus on Labor, Employment, and Commercial Litigation.

Requirements

• Document review and preparation of document productions
• Trial preparation and support
• Preparation of materials for use at depositions
• Preparation of Motions, Supporting Memorandum, and Exhibits
• Legal Research
• Drafting Interrogatory Responses
• Drafting discovery, including Interrogatories and Request for Production
• Preparation of subpoenas
• E-Discovery
• Summarizing medical records and deposition transcripts
• Drafting case status reports
• Tracking and ensuring timely filing of pleadings with both Federal and State Courts
• Calculating and tracking deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Civil Litigation
• Familiarity with Labor, Employment, and Commercial Litigation

Skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Proficiency in legal research and writing
• Experience with e-discovery and document production
