How you’ll contribute
- Draft, negotiate, and administer various legal agreements, including confidentiality agreements, material transfer agreements, and other commercial agreements.
- Evaluate, manage, and monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, in-house attorneys, customers, distributors, and vendors to negotiate contracts and memorialize business objectives.
- Aid in projects concerning corporate compliance, corporate governance, and international business.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BSc) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, or equivalent knowledge through relevant work experience.
- Prior experience as a Paralegal or Contracts Specialist; Senior Contracts Specialist experience preferred.
- Strong ability to interpret contract scope, terms, and the impact of contractual obligations on the company’s financial performance.
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills and experience in process improvement.
- Competence in corporate compliance functions.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Pay and Benefits
The estimated pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00 per hour. The hourly rate is one component of our generous total rewards compensation package. Employees are eligible to receive:
- An annual discretionary profit-sharing bonus.
