Paralegal

Job Summary

A hybrid Family Law Paralegal is needed to launch and grow the new Savannah office of Modern Family Law. The position involves handling various family law cases, interacting professionally with clients, attorneys, and court staff, and collaborating with attorneys and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, and property division.
• Manage multiple competing responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Prepare legal documents and filings with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and court staff.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 0-6 years of experience in family law preferred, but other legal experience will be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a variety of family law cases while maintaining high-quality legal work.
• Proficiency in e-filing with county court systems.
• Exceptional writing skills and strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with multiple attorneys in a law firm setting.

Pay and Benefits

• Compensation: $23 - $36 hourly + monthly bonuses.
