Paralegal
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Copia legal department and the company as a whole.
- Establish and maintain well-organized files across multiple formats, including hardcopy, electronic, and various shared site platforms.
- Aid in the drafting, reviewing, and editing of basic legal documents and manage the contract signature process.
- Support renewable energy project transactions by tracking due diligence activities and preparing initial drafts of disclosure schedules and data room catalogs.
- Aid in transaction management, including corporate deliverables and title and survey matters.
- Liaise with finance and accounting teams on matters such as spend approvals, invoices, and finance onboarding tasks.
- Maintain and renew business licenses and professional registrations in various jurisdictions.
- Undertake additional responsibilities to support corporate-level compliance and the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects.
- Perform other legal administrative duties within the legal department that may vary according to work assignments, business needs, and training.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as a paralegal or transaction associate in the energy or digital infrastructure industry
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel. CLM experience preferred
- Experience with project management software
- Notary certification or ability to complete within 90 days of employment
- Ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects
- Ability to work in the Salt Lake City, UT office a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25%
