Paralegal

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Chief Legal Officer with all matters, including those related to the board of directors and work in connection to governmental affairs.
• Assist attorneys in the preparation, review, closing and execution of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, financing, confidentiality agreements, leases and other real estate transactions and general contracts.
• Conduct thorough due diligence reviews and organize virtual data rooms for corporate projects.
• Work with attorneys on litigation matters that arise out of general corporate functions including basic investigation, document compilation and organization, docketing of deadlines, etc.
• Work independently on specialized projects while collaborating with the in-house team on large-scale, cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant paralegal experience; a paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required.
• Technical Proficiency: High level of comfort with Microsoft Office Suite, AI based platforms (Gemini and NotebookLM) and legal tech (document management systems and e-signature platforms).
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professional diplomacy.
• Organization: Proven ability to prioritize a diverse workload involving multiple stakeholders and legal deadlines.
• Experience with process improvement is beneficial.

Working Conditions

• Schedule: Full-time. After an initial interim period of 5-days in the office, the position has the ability to transition to 1 day of work from home, and the future potential for hybrid (3 days/week in office after the first year), with an understanding that the continued need to collaborate in person with others may require full-time presence in office.
