Paraeducator - Structured Learning (MIS)

About the role

Our school is seeking caring, consistent adults to join our paraeducator team. Paraeducators work closely with teachers to provide extra support to students.

Responsibilities

• Assist students who need intensive support and predictable, consistent routines throughout the school day.
• Focus on language, communication, and social skills, as well as self-help, sensory integration, and academic skills.
• Support students who may have conditions such as autism.
• Follow all health and safety precautions.

Requirements

• Pass a background check.
• Have a current TB test.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be a strong team player.
• Possess basic computer and math skills.
• Enjoy a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to spend 80% of the day standing and 20% walking.
• Maintain regular and acceptable attendance/punctuality.
