About the role
This position is a lateral transfer opportunity with a salary range of $20.59 – $25.02 per hour, structured in five step increments; the highest placement for experienced candidates is step 3. The role includes the district’s full benefits package and is scheduled for 6 hours per day over 180 days per year.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 48 college units or an Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- OR a passing score (70% or higher in both ELA and Math) on the Paraprofessional Exam administered by the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools (970 Klamath Lane, Yuba City; 530-822-2900)
Applicants must attach proof of meeting the requirement by including either a copy of college transcripts or a copy of the Paraprofessional Exam letter showing a passing score of 70% in both ELA and Math.
