About the role

Ro Health is hiring a qualified Paraeducator to provide behavioral support in a Mountain View-area school for the 2026-2027 school year. This role focuses on implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to support students from pre-K to high school, either as a 1:1 support or general classroom aide.

• As a 1:1 support, you will accompany your student to each class, providing behavioral and educational support throughout the day to ensure they stay on task and work toward behavioral goals.
• As a general classroom support, you will assist a single teacher or classroom, working with multiple students as needed.

Overview

This is an in-person role located in Mountain View, CA, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $32.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in either a 1:1 or general classroom capacity
• Maintain calm, clear, and concise communication with children and adults
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)

Qualifications

• Instructional eligibility (minimum requirement)
• Experience in childcare and/or ABA
• Associate’s degree preferred
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong assessment skills
• Passion for supporting students in the learning process
• Ability to work well in a team environment
