Paraeducator - Reading/Math

About the role

These positions are grant funded and considered school year only. Employment ongoing if funding continues. Hours per day: 6.5 hours. Days per week: Monday – Friday. Work calendar: 180 work days. Unit classification: PSEA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (copy required)
• One of the following:
  • Official college transcript showing an AA degree or higher, OR
  • 72 quarter or 48 semester credits earned in 100‑level or higher courses, OR
  • Official documentation of a passing score on a Washington State approved assessment

Pay

Starting pay: $28.09 – Para 2 (2026‑27 school year rates). For the complete salary schedule and collective bargaining agreement, visit the Human Resources website under “Resources”.
