Paraeducator - Reading Full Time

About the role

A full-time Reading Paraeducator position available at Killingly Memorial School to assist with reading instruction in an elementary setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reading instruction as needed
• Support students in developing literacy skills
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other paraeducators

Requirements

• Child Development Associate (CDA), associate degree, or Para-Pro certification required
• An associate degree or higher and experience with reading instruction are strongly encouraged

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of reading instruction methodologies

Skills

Benefits

• Position is 32.50 hours per week, 10 months per year
• Starting pay rate of $18.50/hr*
