Paraeducator-Physical Education

Job Summary

Under supervision, perform a variety of services associated with the school program in the classroom and out on the school grounds. Employees in this assignment spend a major portion of their time working with pupils in grades 4-5 P.E./Health programs. The remainder of the time will be spent supervising and organizing activities for pupils and to assist with student control before, during and after student's lunch period and perform other tasks as assigned.

• To comply with the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) you must meet the requirements:
  • Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent AND any one of the following:
    1. Completion of two (2) years of college at an Accredited Institution of Higher Education (48 units)
    2. Possession of an Associate's degree or higher degree
    3. Passage of both sections of the CBEST
    4. Passage of a Bonita Unified School District (BUSD) approved Paraprofessional Exam or possession of a BUSD approved Paraprofessional Certificate

Pay

Pay Range $18.97 - $22.99 Per Hour (Range 15)

Schedule

School Year employment, part-time. 4 days per week, 3 hours per day. Hours 11:45 am - 2:45 pm. Monday & Tuesday at Roynon Elementary; Wednesday & Friday at La Verne Heights Elementary.
