Paraeducator I - Antelope High School (2026-27)

About the role

Antelope High School is looking for a dynamic educator to join our team as a paraeducator! At Antelope High School, we put students at the center of our decision-making, work together, and have fun! This position will be working in the Special Education Department at Antelope High School. Previous experience working with students or persons with disabilities is desired.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the school principal or designee, assists with the supervision and instruction of students; performs clerical tasks; and assists students on and off campus by meeting special health care needs and developing students' daily living and behavioral skills.

Requirements / Qualifications

High School Diploma and completion of at least two years of study at an institution of higher education; or possession of an AA degree or higher; or verification of having obtained a passing score on a district-approved proficiency assessment.

Knowledge of basic instructional methods and classroom management techniques; subjects including arithmetic, reading, writing, grammar and spelling; educationally related hardware and software tools.
