Paraeducator - Career Technical Education (CTE) - Daycare
Contract type: Continuing • 6.75 hrs/day (average; daily schedules may vary based on student days) • 189-day KAP calendar
Pay
Hourly salary range: $29.43 – $36.18. Salary is annualized and spread through August. Step placement based on verified years of experience in an educational unit.

Requirements
Prior to starting, candidates must meet the minimum employment requirements for paraeducators in the State of Washington through one of the following:
- Associate (AA) degree or higher from an accredited institution
- 72 college-level credits from an accredited institution
- A score of 455 or higher on the ETS ParaPro Assessment and proof of high-school completion or equivalent
If you do not yet meet one of these qualifications and are willing to take the ParaPro Assessment, you may still apply. The chosen finalist will have the opportunity to take the test prior to formal hire.
Post-Hire Requirements
Upon hire, paraeducators must complete state-required training offered through the KSD Professional Development Team.
