Cajon Valley is located in east San Diego County, covering 66.3 square miles. The district serves approximately 16,600 elementary students in grades K-8, plus about 800 preschool students, across 26 schools (6 middle schools, 19 elementary schools, and 1 preschool). The district is largely urban with some rural areas and feeds into the Grossmont Union High School District.
