About the role

The Region No. Four Supervision District is seeking a Para Educator at Essex Elementary School. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating in educational settings, working with students who have academic and behavioral needs, and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in multiple educational settings
• Work with students with academic and behavioral needs
• Show flexibility
• Maintain confidentiality
• Show passion and enthusiasm for assignments
• Work with a wide range of related service providers and support staff to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Experience in Literacy, DTI, behavior management, math, and inclusion preferred

Requirements

• A passing score on ParaPro certificate (457)
• An Associates Degree or 60 college credits
