Paperboard Food Packaging Sales Rep
Description
Reporting to the Senior Director, Food Packaging Sales, North Region, this role will lead the commercial function for the open market sales in Canada. This role is responsible for generating more than 55K tons in annual sales volume across Smurfit Westrock’s full suite of substrates (CNK, SBS, CRB, UUK).
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- 15+ years of progressive commercial experience; a mix of sales, marketing, and product management is preferred.
- Preferred experience in engineered solutions and/or materials; experience in the folding carton pkg market is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully working as a business partner with the procurement and management teams within the customer base.
- Demonstrated experience in building, developing, and motivating a high-performance sales and commercial team, including experience with organizational design/development.
- Strong business and financial acumen required; understand and utilize metrics/measurements to ensure success.
- Deep commitment to a high-performance culture.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, influencing, and negotiating skills.
- Ability to travel in Canadian territory 50-60% per month, spanning from Nova Scotia to Winnipeg, with a major concentration in Toronto.
