Responsibilities
- Prepare and plate cold food items with precision
- Salads, Raw Bar items, chilled appetizers, garnishes, and desserts
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient service to the team and guests
- Operate under standard operating procedures and core values
- Prepare, execute, and present food to Buck & Rider brand standards
- Maintain sanitary conditions in all dining, kitchen, and bar areas
- Mark, date, and rotate all products
- Maintain production and cleaning schedules
- Remains organized and maintains a neat, organized workspace
Requirements
- Ability to read recipes and follow instructions, measurements, etc.
- Keen eye for plating and presentation
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
- 1+ years’ experience as a cook in a restaurant environment
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Able to spend long periods on your feet and lift up to 50 lbs
