Panelboard Breaker Builder

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY

Eaton is currently seeking a Panelboard Breaker Builders for the Mon-Fri (5am-1:30pm) Shift to join our team. This position is based out of our Sumter, SC facility.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in complex assembly operations or assembly requiring drawings or diagrams. Experience with measuring devices (i.e., tape measure and calipers). Experience reading blueprints, manufacturing diagrams or drawings, or operating instructions. Utilize various hand tools to assemble and verify quality in switchboards/panelboards in a Lean environment. Ability to read and comprehend front views, one-line diagrams, bills of material, tape measure, and pick sheets.

Additional Information

• Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach at or above shoulder level, grip, and use hands to handle and feel. The employee is frequently required to stoop, lift, carry, push, pull, and grip. The employee is frequently required to lift/carry up to 35 pounds and to push/pull up to or greater than 35 pounds with or without accommodation.
