Panel Fabrication Technician

About the role

We are hiring a Fabrication Technician for our UL-certified panel fabrication shop located in Greenville. The person in this position will perform tasks in the fabrication of control panels to meet client project requirements. Daily tasks may include receiving shipments and inventorying parts, reading and understanding panel diagrams, and assisting with all aspects of mechanical and electrical assembly of panels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure wiring and assembly of panels is done according to approved drawings with minimal errors and omissions.
• Ensure all panel shipments are properly packed to avoid damage.
• Schedule pickups and deliveries to meet project deadlines.
• Participate in quality checks for fabrication issues.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; formal training in Electrical/Electronic technology highly preferred.
• 2+ years of practical experience in essential job functions.
• Track record of understanding and practicing NFPA 70 and UL508a requirements.
• Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Valid Driver's License.
