PALS Program
About the Organization
St.Amant is a comprehensive resource for Manitobans with developmental disabilities and autism. We are a not-for-profit organization offering a wide range of programs and services to support individuals and their families. Programs include a large residence for complex-care, over 50 community sites and homes, the St.Amant Research Centre, the St.Amant School, and River Road Child Care, a community child-care centre. We provide effective programs for children with autism and families caring for individuals with developmental disabilities at home. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life and self-determination for the thousands of individuals and families we serve each year. We are also a member of the Catholic Health Network.
About the Role
The ideal PAL (Partnership through Activities, Learning, and Sharing) would enjoy spending time outdoors, chatting about big ideas, or simply hanging out in a relaxed, informal way. Whether it's going for a bike ride, enjoying music, a friendly game on the court, or sharing quiet moments, your presence and mentorship could mean a lot. This one-to-one volunteer opportunity is designed to build meaningful connections between people supported by St.Amant and volunteers, rooted in shared interests. The program promotes friendship, inclusion, and mutual joy through recreational and social activities.
