About the role
Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician to join the well-established Palliative Care team at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient palliative care consultation services to patients with serious and complex illnesses, focusing on symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and advance care planning.
- Collaborate closely with hospitalists, specialists, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, education, and the continued growth of palliative care services within the hospital.
Requirements
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- Experience in inpatient palliative care preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Medical License in Massachusetts.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in palliative medicine.

- Ability to manage complex cases and provide holistic care.
