The Role
The ideal candidate is a compassionate and innovative physician driven to provide a multidisciplinary approach to palliative care in the cancer population. Palliative care is an integral part of our cancer care delivery model with involvement at all stages of a patient’s cancer journey, when appropriate. Commitment to proactive management of symptoms and improvement of quality of life. Completion of a palliative care fellowship favored, but internal medicine, family medicine, surgical or dual palliative care and medical cancer training would be considered in the right candidate.
Call frequency is 1:3. Academic-style practice in a community setting. Health system utilizes EPIC EMR System.
