Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality palliative care to patients with medical necessity for palliative services via in-person and telehealth options.
• Assist with the design of operational processes associated with the development of the palliative care program.
• Work with facilities and Eventus employees to ensure the growth of the palliative care program.
• Train and educate internal employees on palliative care principles and processes.
• Recognize gaps in processes and work with interdepartmental team members to streamline and organize palliative operations.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following sets of qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited educational institution and a current, valid license to practice medicine issued by the state of residence (Medical Board). All other certifications necessary to perform duties must be current and valid.
• Graduated from a physician assistant educational program accredited by the National Commission on Accreditation of Allied Education Programs.
• Passed the national certification examination of the National Commission on Accreditation of Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Licensed by the state of residence as a Physician Assistant.

Specialization in geriatric, family, or psychiatry is desired.
