About the role

The Palletizer Operator programs and operates log bundlers, palletizers, log cranes, and stackers to deliver properly stacked or logged signatures to the staging area in accordance with Finishing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate log bundler, palletizer, log crane, and stacker.
• Ensure signatures are stacked or logged correctly per Finishing guidelines.
• Maintain productivity and safety standards.
• Perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Engage in frequent standing, walking, handling, and overhead reaching.
• Perform occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, sitting, crouching, and crawling.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (hearing protection, eye protection, safety shoes).

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED/HiSET.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work productively and safely at a rapid pace.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work mandatory overtime as needed.
• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.

Schedule

Wednesday – Friday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (36 hours per week). Overtime pays time and a half after 36 hours. Night shift includes a 24% shift differential on all hours.

Pay

Competitive compensation. Eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.
