Palletizer Operator - 1st Shift

About the role

KIK Consumer Products is a North American manufacturer of consumer products. This role is based at our Mars, PA facility.

Responsibilities

• Sets up palletizing equipment according to the production schedule
• Maintains quality control and reports any malfunctions to maintenance or supervisor
• Reports packaging errors to the Filling Department
• Coordinates with forklift operators for appropriate pallet usage
• Lifts, moves, carries, and stacks cases of finished product
• Operates and monitors palletizing and shrink-wrap machines
• Ensures product meets quality control standards and repackages damaged product
• Performs basic inventory and record-keeping duties

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Machine-operating or manufacturing experience preferred
• Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations
• Comfortable standing for long periods
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a background check

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer skills

$21.63 per hour

Schedule

Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-5:00pm
Friday: Overtime as needed
