Palletizer - 3rd Shift / 11pm to 7:30am / Sunday to Thursday

About the Role

As a core member of our frozen warehouse and distribution team, you will be expected to work in a -20 degree environment to move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet, prepare pallets filled with delicious ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to our customers, and work as a team to support the production of safe, high-quality products and team member safety. Responsibilities

• Ability to work in an extreme cold climate, reaching temperatures below -20° F
• Lift up to 50 lbs. throughout entire shift, multiple days a week
• Move product from a conveyor and stack onto a pallet starting at ground level to over-the-shoulder height in a -20 degree environment
• Stack pallets filled with ice cream for the warehouse before it is sent to customers
• Use proper lifting/bending techniques from ground level to overhead
• Push/pull 2000 lbs. for an extended amount of time using pallet jacks (manual or electric)
• Stand/walk for extended periods throughout assigned shift while maintaining footing on slippery floors
• Work as a team to support the production of safe, high-quality products and team member safety
• Complete all other tasks as outlined by supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum education of a High School diploma, GED, or HSE
• Experience working with PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicles)
• Schedule flexibility to work various shifts as needed, especially for training
• Ability to abide by GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SQF (Safe Quality Food) requirements
• Ability to legibly complete paperwork
• Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish set goals
• Work with a safety mindset and in an efficient manner

Pay

• Base Pay Rate: $21.08 / hour - $23.43 / hour
• Shift Differential: $0.50 / hour
• Freezer Premium: $1.25 / hour

Schedule

11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday. Additional days or overtime may be required to complete daily demands.
